Stuart Nicholson

As a very young entrepreneur, Stuart overcame the first steps of shyness (asking questions) his mum recommended hairdressing as a career choice which led him to 60 years in the industry. First, as an apprentice then stylist where he learned some very valuable lessons before immigrating to Australia. Stuart secured a role with the Wella organisation and then the first technical manager for Redken Australia This gave Stuart the opportunity to be trained in America. Giving him the understanding of how educating hairdressers in the knowledge of Hair could increase their average client bill Stuart went on a period with Bristol-Myers managing the Clariol professional brand, before deciding that he needed to have control over his own destiny and returning to working as a stylist and purchasing a hair salon. One salon quickly became two and three and four and five. Stuart learnt valuable lessons along the way, managing and getting the very best from his people 

Stuart went on to launch his own range of Haircare under the brand-name, Hair NrG Included Brazilian keratin. and associated Hair products.

Stuarts' mantra for life is that every day is a new learning experience; however, life has to be fun. Enjoy what you’re doing, and it will never feel like work

Jonina Menzies lives on the south coast of NSW. She is the Founder of Yeshair Australia, and The Curls made easy routines. Her salon mainly sees clients with textured hair. She focuses on educating the industry in cutting, hydrating and styling curly/textured hair.

Mel Broere

Wanting to play a part in preventing violence against women and children in Australia, Mel joined the Education and Training team at Eastern Domestic Violence Service in 2018. As a Project Coordinator, Mel develops and leads programs designed to raise community understanding and awareness of family violence. Her main project is HaiR-3Rs, a family violence training program giving salon professionals the skills to help clients experiencing abuse. Originally open only to Melbourne salons, HaiR-3Rs has grown into a national program under Mel’s leadership, despite receiving no ongoing or government funding. Mel believes everyone has a role to play in ending family violence, and that training programs such as HaiR-3Rs can be lifesaving for many women.  

Paul Frasca

Paul’s role as Managing Director takes him all around Australia and New Zealand speaking to audiences in the waste management, hair, beauty, fashion, hospitality, medical and education industries, all interested in learning how to adopt a more sustainable approach in their everyday lives and businesses.
